HOLDCROFT THE LARGEST FAMILY MOTOR GROUP IN THE MIDLANDS
This family business has steadily grown into what it is today, implementing new ideas along the way and fine tuning the traditional. The result is one of the largest family owned motor groups within the country.
Like most family businesses, the Holdcroft Group developed from modest beginnings. In 1966, our Chairman, Terry Holdcroft opened the first business in Hanley, Stoke on Trent. It was, and still is, renowned for a warm, friendly and personal service, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and outstanding value for money.
Holdcroft became an immediate success and continued its development by opening dealerships throughout the Midlands selling the leading franchised marques. As the company expanded, its growth continued to be structured on a total dedication to quality motor vehicles, and customer service.
The Holdcroft Group is now firmly established as one of the countries largest privately owned motor vehicle retailing groups that appreciate the importance of a continued personal relationship with their customers. The company recognised from an early stage that only a satisfied clientele would continue to ensure the future growth and success of the areas leading family business.
From its humble beginnings in the mid 1960's, the Holdcroft Group has now grown and diversified into a substantial organisation representing many of the world's largest manufacturers across North Staffordshire and Cheshire. Equally, a comparable number of quality used car outlets are represented within the group.
Vehicle sales are no longer the only activity within the Holdcroft Group; recent years have seen the development of several associated operations. A specialised body and paint centre and independent service centres, all help to guarantee the Holdcroft Group stay at the forefront of the ever-changing fiercely competitive motor industry. With an ongoing expansion program, the Holdcroft Group is looking forward to providing high standards of customer service to an even wider community.
However, this is not to say that the group will ever take for granted the community from which it has grown. Continued investment within the Stoke-on-Trent area reflects the group's commitment to its historical roots and the community we serve.
